so i got on the turnpike today after work and forgot that i used all my cash the night before to get gas. as i got off i realized that so i just went through the ez pass lane. lol. cant seem to find out whats going to happen...i assume ill just get a fine. |

i take it you do not have an ez-pass account? if you do have one and just forgot it you can call them if they send you a ticket and get it cleared. if you do not and you get a ticket you will have to pay them. i think it's like $35? i've gotten them before because the system did not read my ez-pass but i'm not 100% sure of the amount. |

nvm i found out i can send in the ticket with an appeal form for an accidental ez pass exit and all i have to pay is the toll |

I did this a few years back. Just hold on to the ticket that you had, and wait for them to send you a ticket. This ticket will have a picture of the rear end of your car showing your license plate. Then you will just send in the ticket, along with the original payment due, and a short explination of why you went through the EZ pass. No biggie.

Just get a James Bond flip down plate and never worry about paying on the pike again.
