Press release from NESBA...
NESBA Expands Operations
NESBA is expanding again, this time deeper into the Southeast where the riding season is all year long!
Mohnton, PA (January 9th, 2012) NESBA is expanding deeper into the south, adding NOLA and Jennings to their already extensive east coast schedule.
NESBA has secured a significant amount of dates at NOLA Motorsports Park and Jennings GP. The events currently on the schedule are:
NOLA – March 17-18, June 16-17, October 20-21, December 1-2, Jennings GP – June 30-31, July 7-8, Sept 30-31, December 8-9
Robert Blandford, NESBA President says “We have been analyzing the market research around the deep south for sometime, with the addition of NOLA it made perfect sense to enter now” Blandford also adds “We want to be able to give our members the opportunity to ride all year round and these two venues give us that option.”
David Jackson, Director of Operations comments “It’s great to see NESBA expand the southeast. I ride Jennings during the late fall and winter months; I just refuse to go into hibernation. NOLA has all the characteristics in becoming a destination track and our members made it clear, they want it on our calendar.”
These dates will officially be on the schedule as soon as we solidify all the contract details.
The Northeast Sportbike Association (NESBA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, formed in 1996 by sportbike enthusiasts and former racers who understand and appreciate the difference between riding fast and riding well.

Man, NOLA would be one serious road trip! I've never been to New Orleans but I've always wanted to go. If I had known this before, I would have drug my bike down when I was there last month.  Something to plan for later this year.
