Not really track related but I was at Seltzer's Honda yesterday and they were trying REALLY hard to sell me a CBR1000RR - Honda has huge rebates on leftover 08's. They have the bikes stickered at $7999, I know there are a bunch of dealers with them stickered at $7500. They offered me right around $7K for my R1 on trade so like $1k difference. Not that I need another bike but it's sort of tempting just to get a brand new bike for like a g. I just can't figure out what it would do for me other than get me an uglier bike?! |

they aren't near as perty as the R1, but that's a hell of a deal mike. it would let you start over with tinkering with mods again... ![]() |

that's what I'm afraid of... yellow one isn't too bad looking. |

Its not bad looking at all, kind of like them actually. That does sound like a hell of a deal, but starting all over again with the mods is a pain. Seems like about the time I get one set up I go and trade it in. |

That bike's a monster! Basically a 600 with crazy HP. It's by far the lightest, most compact of the liter's. Only problem is I've read they burn oil... |
