justin told me to take my skirt off. I tried to but went down in turn 5 on sat. Not sure what happened. I felt real good the whole time, everything was great. it was a slow sharp left hander. I was going thru and next thing I know by foot was sliding then I was sliding. Tried to stand up too fast and did a little flip and ran off the track. I was fine the bike looks great. my pride was hurt the most.
I am still not sure what happend. Justin was right behind me. he thinks I may a lost the front on some of the patchwork. It was wierd, I was past the apex and on the throttle, never felt the rear give...
Took me the rest of the day to get the crash out of my head. started to pick up the pace sunday. I am still stugging on the carousels. not really sure why. my best time was a 1:45.07 which seems pretty decent.
As far as TPM I am not a huge fan. All day they were very unorganized, and rude. I saw a coach yelling at another coach. One was telling justin he doesnt need to be in red group riding with those "fuckers". (with me standing right there in red group) very unprofessional. Justin went to buy tires and nobody knew how much they were. I understand that nobody wants to crash but it happens. the head guy of TPM was flipping out about how many ppl crashed. I didnt really think that many people went down. I have seen worse. but he was getting on people hard. Thank god for NESBA.

its an awesome track. tom rode really well after his wreck and was moving at a good pace. i was passing a guy out of the chicane on the outside and the guy proceeds to lowside and almost take my front wheel out, had another off track excursion like at jennings. i ran well, no incidents, ran around the 36's. ruined the contis on day one, failed tech on sunday, had to buy sc pros. they are wearing beautifully. i will be switching back to pirelli now. having to many problems with ruining contis. got bumped 3rd session on sat, had to restart back in I on sunday. got 2 meatball flags for illegal passing. got pissed and went and bitched and got moved back up to advanced. no problems there. me and tom did a twilight session sunday from 6-7:30. open track for only 55 bucks, which was a blast. wheelie hill is awesome. i definitely recommend the track, one of my new favs.
as far as TPM, i wouldnt go out of my way to ride with them, but if they have a convenient date i would ride with them. the riders arent of nesba or stt caliber, people were coming off pace to pit on 6 turns early then staying on race line, some people who were just dog shit slow, im talking like not even accelerating on the straight kinda slow. advance wasnt as bad, seems like STT A pretty much. like i said though, would ride with again, just wouldnt go out of my way to do so

glad to hear you okay..i've heard that about TPM before. Nesba is my choice but then again it's the only one i've been riding with.

Tom - sorry to hear about your off but it sounds like a "good one" so far as agricultural excursions typically go i'm guessing the lesson is to never listen to Jr. Jr - I'm OK on the conti's but I like the SC's better as well. I know Joe went back to SC's too. I've never ridden with TPM but I did hear good feedback on them, oh well. I guess there's NESBA and then there's every one else.... So WTF was Geoff doing there? Riding or "working"?

my problem with them is like 1 out of every 3 sets or so shreds to shit after a few sessions. i dont change suspension and i make sure pressures are on point. i never had these problems with the pirellis and i cant keep ruining tires by lunch. just take a look at the pic of the tires on my facebook.

I may go to lightning for a 675.net day in July - need to sort some shit out first.
Any idea how do the two tracks compare?
