need to find some stick on weights too. autozone used to sell boxes of them - just hate the idea of shipping lead :-)

They tossed in some tire lube, extra tips, etc. Very nice.
Still waiting on my balancer and need to figure out a good way to secure the base to something and I'm ready to get started.

the base of the stand or balancer? The balancer doesn't have to be mounted.

i'm not sure about the HF stand but I can tell you that you want a really secure mounting location...if you get a tuff tire you need a strong base to work against. I mounted mine directly into the concrete floor. I tried using a large sheet of plywood but ended up rotating the plywood under the base when trying to do Harley Rims. Just my .02.

yeah, I did not have it mounted at all and tried to put on a front - that's how I whacked my back - pretty fucking stupid in rhetrospect :dunce:
I don't really want to mount it to the floor. I'll have to see if I can sort something out for a location if I go that route.
