Who is has purchased a new battery recently?

What kind and from where?

I looked at TSC and they had Exide for 70 but want 10 for the exchange battery that i dont have. I beleive the auto part stores and wallymart do the same.

I guess the best is a Yuasa battery, these are 90 shipped from Reading PA, so should only take a day or two to get here.

I guess i can stop in at Karns and see if they stock them because i really want to get the bike running, oil changed and ready for the dyno.

you remember when i had to swap mine at Summit? Got one at AutoZone - I think around $60 with core exchange. Haven't had any issues but in this short of time I'd be surprised if I did.
Yuasa are supposed to be best but they are pricy. I got one for the 675 off ebay over the winter, forget how much.

i've only ever bought yuasa batteries for the bikes. not sure if there are any of their stores around your area but i've always gone through Battery Warehouse for mine. they usually have decent prices.

I got mine before my last trackday through NESBA (Moon), it was like $55 or $60. Not sure what the brand was, but never heard of them before.

I still have my old one around trying to figure out how to dispose of it, so if you want that one to trade in you are more than welcome to have it.

I ended up getting a generic battery from Karns. Only cost $52 and was told they are just as good as Yuasa. They also filled and charged it for me.
