Since many of us are not running anti-freeze in our bikes what hapens when you do a track day that involves letting the bike sit overnight in 32 or colder temps or even towing it there in low temps?
Mine has water / water wetter in it. Water Wetter does nothing to lower the freezing point of the water in the cooling system.
For NESBA days it's easy (for me), "I" group can still run coolant but say for about any other org that bans anti-freeze in "A" and many in "I" groups? Like going to CMP next month with STT?
Thoughts?

I think you'll need to swap it out and put coolant in. Not sure what advanced guys or other orgs do.

Ever leave a bottle of water in the car overnight? Takes a bit more than a low of 32 to cause water to freeze. Sustained temps at 32 and below for several hours can cause freezing to occur, especially on an open trailer more so than enclosed cause the enclosed should be able to maintain a more constant temp.
Also something to note. Just draining the water can still leave enough in the water pump to freeze. Try finding a water pump for a Honda in January 24hrs before a trip to Jennings. It's not easy, trust me.

I'm just guessing it's not worth taking a chance with freezing stuff up. I think I will put Engine Ice in the thing since it will not effect me with NESBA's I and get me past STT's A tech as well.
Is Engine Ice as slippery (if spilled) as regular anti-freeze? I'm assuming not since some orgs do allow it.

It's not easy, trust me. Also, if your bike's on an open trailer remember that the cold air is going through the rad. If it's below freezing, your coolant will freeze more quickly than it would if your bike was sitting out stationary. I believe you can run Engine Ice and maybe even coolant at Jennings?

It's recommended but NOT REQUIRED at Jennings. Just don't crash and it's not an issue

Honda Water pumps don't break, so no one from here to FL stocks them. Had to dig out a drill, tap set and an oversized bolt. Scary thing is I used that for half a season before I figured I was pushing my luck and ordered one.
