Just to add...my 09' 750 hasn't been at the track but the factory brakes are junk compared to my 03' R1's. This winter i'll probably be doing the R1 brake switchover. From everything i've read it's not the factory suzuki calipers but the nissan master cylinder that's junk.

I have all kinds of problems with brake fade and I already have SS lines and Vesrah pads. I have had numerous people try to bleed the brakes with no luck. My last thought is it has to be my master which is a Nisson.

What master can I swap into a 2003 636?

Just about any master will work - the recent R6/R1 masters are the cheap option, Brembo 19X18 or RCS is the (better) but far more costly option.

What is a good price for a used master cylinder? I found an 08-10 R6 OEM master cylinder for $100. Is that good?

I think you can do better than $100. If you're serious about looking for one I can post a WTB post at the r1-forum.
I've seen them go around $75 or so.

I'm not completely serious yet, just looking at my options. Will probably lurk the WERA forums to get a feel for price. Maybe I'll check out the R1 forums as well and just keep my eyes open.

With that said, if you see something you feel is a good deal shoot me a PM with the link.

Thanks

Well I ordered the superbike kit from Rider's Discount for $100 shipped, not bad. Got them today, they look good.

But stupid me forgot to order brake fluid too. I have probably half a bottle left of RBF600 that I opened after my crash. I wonder if that will be enough to bleed and fill with the new lines? It would be bad if I ran out because no one locally sells anything good and I need to be at the Beav Sunday.

you can always for get some DOT 4 and use that to get all the air out of the system and then finish off by pushing that stuff out with the goood fluid.
