after destroying A*s pcuks way too fast klucky pucks are pretty damn nice. Very little wear from 2 days of use and they slide and feel great.

it's all fun to destroy pucks right up until they become yet another expense.

Yeah your not kidding I burned through my A*'s by the end of my second trackday. Went to Klucky's also and they have survived with little wear after 4 more trackdays. They slider excellent and give great feel. I love them...

sometimes i think i sort of hurt myself by dragging - almost like it limits the amount i'm willing to lean the bike. knee hits, drags and mind says that's far enough - sort of the way it's supposed to work. but the thing is that i tend to hang off like a monkey, or maybe almost reach with my knee, so i'm dragging likely earlier than need be and thus inadvertantly scrubing off corner speed as a result. a kind of interesting view of that is looking at my avitar and the pic of jr. in my sig. both in t1 at beaver - huge difference in approach (and speed). i need to get past the "must drag" mindset. one of the things i want to really work on the next time i'm out to look at the relationship between where i start to touch my knee down and how far i'm actually into the corner. really that "scientific" angle is absolutely lacking from my riding, i just go out there and toss the bike around without really giving what i'm doing any real thought.

the more I ride the track the less I drag knee really...I've found it's not always the fastest to drag a knee for the same reasons you said...look at the CR's...alot of them barely drag knee even at a fast pace with others.

What tib said, out in may i really didn't drag my knee that much compared to last year and when i did i pulled it back in.
I think 7 and 10 were the big ones, sometimes 1 and 4 also but not consistantly.
I like to drag 7 just as a guage
