Nice job Tib...now Jr is going to have to pit next to us you don't really need a letter for demo rides, they have a list of everyone's name and time. Last year I got to take the same bike for 2 demo sessions because no one else signed up.

ohh cool...I just remember when I signed up they said we'd get an email or something. Ohh well if we don't need it, one less thing to worry about forgetting.

Odd weekend - great group - sort of sums things up for me... Sean, great to finally meet you in person, wreck was something else, the fact that you walked away with just a sore calf is wilder yet Tom, great to meet you in person as well - congrats on the bump, well desirved Ben, good riding - you really picked up a lot of pace. All the regulars were great see again, even Jr. Had a good time playing tag with Nate on Saturday. Really sucked about Eli's bike and the run of broken motor mounts on the shitzukies all weekend. I never really felt good on Saturday though I did manage a new personal best at Beaver (by a whole 1/10th of a second or so, fart). Joe and I finally desided to pack it in before the 3rd session on Sunday. Of course by the time we loaded our bikes it was no longer raining. Thought about unloading but just figured it would start right up as soon as we did. We both rolled after the 3rd session or so and after BS'n with Ray and Sarah and getting our pics. Did not see much rain on the way home - sort of on and off the whole way. Got home in time to watch the Pens lose. Joy. Hope to see everyone back out there soon. Anyway, great to be at the track with a good group.

Good time hanging out with all of you guys and i appreciate all of the effort you guys put into my bike trying to get her wheels up and running but sometimes the good guys dont win i guess. Ill keep you guys informed on my future adventures with the motor mount. Im just going to look at it as a learning experience as i tear the bike to shreds in my basement. Hopefully everything will be good to hook for summit in june.

Mike hit it dead on, it was a weird weekend. Tasha and I carpooled with Shawn and his wife (Tara). We got to the track Friday night around 8:30 and unloaded everything. After everything was setup, we (meaning Mike and Shawn) proceeded to replace my front brake pads in the dark. Got them squared away and a brake bleed done. Called it a night and headed to the hotel. Saturday morning was pretty standard. Got through tech and got to play with my new tire warmers. Did a demo ride on an R6 and all I have say is I want a slipper clutch Went out the first session and was just trying to get comfortable. Saw a red flag coming through T7 and pitted in. Since our group is almost all intermediate riders, I immediately got concerned. Found out Shawn binned it pretty big (I'll let him tell his story) and just waited for him to get back to help unload his bike. Tara was a little shook up, but overall she took it well considering she saw the whole thing. The rest of the day was pretty standard. Had a good session with Mike. Got to hook up with a couple of CRs (I find it hard to get time when you are running fast I pace) and they both told me the same thing, you look great just go faster. I wasn't running a timer, but I'm guessing I was mainly running 6's with a few 5's thrown in. I know where I can go faster, I just need to figure my brakes out because they were sketchy. The new pads were good, I just cannot bleed them to save my life. After the day was over, we packed everything up since I didn't plan on riding in the rain. Had a great dinner with everyone at Guisseppes. This morning got up and it was real cloudy but dry and warm. Got to the track and unloaded my bike and gear. Got teched and came back. 10 mins later while helping Justin work on his tires the rain began. Just like the track/weather gods to bait us in to unload everything and then start raining. Checked the weather map and it wasn't looking good. My back tire is pretty low so I definitely wasn't running in rain, so I just called it quits and packed back up and left. It was great to see everyone. I was really hoping to ride with Tom on Sunday. Ben (Foster) looked 10x better in the afternoon than he did in the morning. It was great to see him really getting the track. If I remember correctly, he dropped 4 seconds (1:11 to 1:07) on just Saturday. Looking forward to the next trackwhores day.
