Not really track related but I was at Seltzer's Honda yesterday and they were trying REALLY hard to sell me a CBR1000RR - Honda has huge rebates on leftover 08's. They have the bikes stickered at $7999, I know there are a bunch of dealers with them stickered at $7500. They offered me right around $7K for my R1 on trade so like $1k difference. Not that I need another bike but it's sort of tempting just to get a brand new bike for like a g. I just can't figure out what it would do for me other than get me an uglier bike?!

they aren't near as perty as the R1, but that's a hell of a deal mike. it would let you start over with tinkering with mods again...

that's what I'm afraid of... yellow one isn't too bad looking.

Its not bad looking at all, kind of like them actually. That does sound like a hell of a deal, but starting all over again with the mods is a pain. Seems like about the time I get one set up I go and trade it in.

That bike's a monster! Basically a 600 with crazy HP. It's by far the lightest, most compact of the liter's. Only problem is I've read they burn oil...
