looking at them they probably can be - that they are on a radious makes it more difficult but someone with a clue and with a bit of filler afterward could probably do a good job.
2 questions though:
A. Is it cheaper to fix the tank or to see if you can find a used one in good shape and sell yours off?
B. Since you said it was a track bike only now - why bother?

Always loved the sport attacks....Kyle got me hooked...will be changing to a DOT eventually now that its a track bike. They last forever and stick awesomely!!! Madski....I will probably just sand it down and leave the dents in there

sounds like a winner... my 675's tank had some dings from the previous owner - i was gonna mess with fixing them but ended up just taking some touch up paint to them, you can see that that's what I did but it looks good enough for me.
