I'm not at all a fan of open track with various skill level riders out there. I know the 30 min sessions beat me up but you don't have to stay out for the full session, Regardless what way we do it, we are going to have so much riding time and we will all be knackered by sat evening.  For the first few sessions of the first day it would be nice to follow someone who knows the track. not basically control riding but just helping out. I'm guessing the B and I groups are mostly riders who have never been to JGP.

The contract was for 50 riders and at first I was worried about filling it. Now i'm turning riders away. If there's enough interest and the paid riders don't mind I dint have an issue with adding to the B and I groups till we hit 20 per group in each. I would need those that paid to make that decision and I would need to clear it with Jennings. I would like to run 2 CRs per B and I session to help set a pace and show some lines. At this point I have a few ideas of some things I'd like to try but need to think about it a bit more and see if they are permssable with jennings

I think having only 12 riders in I group would get boring. Dicing it up with others on track is all apart of the fun.
20 riders per group sounds ok to me.

I agree with Lee. I have no problem with 20 riders in a group unless we are going to combine B & I groups.
Also if we combine B&I, what rules would be used.

I'm cool with getting to 20 per B and I groups and going with three groups.
If not, it would be cool to eventually arrange two groups and go with longer sessions (25-30 minutes) or just more sessions for the day (17-20 minutes). You can always pit out as there will be plenty of track time.
If we go this way I like the idea of starting with three groups to learn the track (and other riders). Then maybe later on in day one combine B and I groups if everyone felt OK.
Whatever happens it will be good. Right now I'm sitting here looking at the f&#*ing snow outside counting down the days.
Anyway - much thanks to Wolley/Dave for setting this up. I'm sure there's a ton of stuff to deal with in putting this together.
