i do wonder if ultimately the 675 is faster than an i4 600.... it has more torque and a far wider power band but it is down a few horses on top. the thing that attracted me is the feel of the bike more than power delivery. it feels tiny in comparison to a typical i600, more like my SV did rather than my gix.

i'd probably want a track day or something in on the bike before racing it...

Won't be racing this month for the pure fact i won't have race plastics ready for it nor the suspension. With wera your required to run a belly pan, right now the bike is in street form so i still have a lot to do (safety wire the whole bike) before i can conform to the wera rules.

talk to rick at motocd.com - he's awesome and works on triumphs and ducs for race set up all the time. I got my shock from him for just under $700 delivered and my forks done for $450 or so w/Penske kit). It was like $50 or so more to get needles done but he talked me out of it. just really one of the "good guys" in the whole race/track racket.. tell him I sent you, he'll remember me as the guy with the bent 675 forks he had to have sent out to straighten. rockwell's bodywork is not all that bad (or good). dirt cheap is it's best selling point - I think well under $500 delivered. i did have issues with the tail but they sent a new one no questions asked. it is better than hotbodies for sure. not shark skins or catalyst but it's a hell of a lot less money. they also have both super bike and super sport tails.
