Tib,
Glad you're OK! Sucks about the bike! Does it have a steering damper? That's an odd, and very fast, place to crash...

Well guys I had a great time meeting all of you. Wish I could have ridden with you in I group but the weather wasnt so hot.
Sat felt good I was dropping quite a bit of time each session and was feeling alot better. I got alot of attention and help from CRs Chris, Rob, Todd (sat) and Dave, Will on sunday. I got the bump in the last session on saturday.
Sunday, I wasnt sure what to expect being in I group then it started raining and I thought great now I am really going to look like a squid. First session I was running a little late and went out just after the group left (about 4 of them). I had a open track for a couple laps until I caught a rider and CR. I had a lot of fun in the rain and I am glad that I did it. there were not very many bikes out there even in the dry sessions. I was holding my own in I group even with the wet weather. I got me knee down in a couple turns when the track was wet. Not when it was pouring like Junior tho. hes effin nuts. I was drizzling the last session and i lined up to go out and nobody came. finally Will came and him and I had an open track. I followed for about two laps and he waved me by. I had a great time by myself. I didnt know it at the time but will went in so I was alone. I looked down and my fuel light was on for .5 miles and I was like I am having too much fun to stop I can make it. I came in and Dave was like we were going to join you but said screw it we will let you play alone.
Thanks again guys I had a great time. Hope to see you on the track soon and I will be taking notes.

Jr, I don't think Tib's bike is as bad as your 636 was. it looks like it tumbled vs. just going head first into the tire wall like yours did.

Pulled the bodywork. The good news, the engine starts and runs without any noises.
The bad, worse and ugly part;
Need the following;
Front Rim Possible Front Rotors...unknown if straight Front Forks Front Master Cylinder Front Brake Lever Header Muffler Subframe Battery Tray Rearsets Bodywork Instrument Gauge Instrument Gauge Wiring Fairing Stay Windscreen Clip Ons Grips and more...
The last 03 R1 engine that sold on ebay went for $900 so I can part it out and get some money towards a new trackbike.
The frame is dented in two spots...not sure if it is straight.

unfortunately from that list I think I'd go with the part out and buy something else option, especially if you can get $900 for the motor.

Ohh and I forgot...add these to the list...
Radiator Coolant Overflow Tank
Probably going to part it out...it's about a 60/40 right now.

Weekend was a lot of fun and you guys rode great. Had one of the lowest crash rates for a weekend and that's all up to you guys on course. Can't wait for the next Beav date
