So I was planning on going to Beav on 8/14 but I just got an email from them saying the 8/14 is now a "B" SED and 8/15 is an "I" SED. I realize there's quite a bit of track time as its open track and there's a body position seminar but $305 is pretty steep.
I know a few of you have done these in the past, is it worth it? And who's going?

I did a SED at Beaver. Unfortunately I wrecked right after lunch and lost the whole afternoon. I know Justin did a day and did like 250 miles or something like that, so you get a lot of track time. For $350, I think I would rather pay $15 more and get 2 days instead of just the single day.
During the SED they do a track walk with CR fly-bys and you get more CR attention, but $305 is expensive. I think last year it was $275.

I did a B SED 2 years ago and I was not all that excited by it. The track walk IS nice and there is a bit more attention but I ended up only riding like 20 extra miles since I'm not in the sort of shape to just keep going out there lap after lap nor do I want to. I like the 20 / 40 rotation of a regular track day. I'm with Nate in that I would rather do 2 regular days instead of an SED.

id rather do two days as well. and the body position seminar isnt anything special, its just the half butt off, low to the inside stuff that they always tell you in B group. nothing groundbreaking in it. trackwalk is cool, but to be honest it didnt really benefit me, or at least i didnt use anything from it in my riding.

Cool, thanks guys looks like I'll be passing on this then as $305 is just too steep.
